Environment Modeling Apprentice
Describe something that you learned from your mentors.

I learned how to see through an artistic lens. From capturing clear silhouettes to refining purposeful details, they helped me understand that great 3D modeling goes beyond technical skills. Their feedback pushed me to focus on what makes 3D model visually appealing, and in the process, I grew not just as 3D modeler but as a stronger visual storyteller.

Looking back to when you were applying, and knowing what you know now, what advice would you give yourself?

Believe in yourself. Remind yourself of the value you bring and the effort, time, and passion you’ve invested in chasing your dream of working at Disney. When you truly recognize this, confidence will come naturally. You’ve got this!

What will you take away from your experience and how will you apply it?

I learned the importance of not staying stuck on the same problem for too long. Reaching out to others and sharing my challenges often opens new creative paths. Moving forward, I want to actively seek fresh perspectives, embrace collaboration, and stay open to experimentation to keep growing as an artist.

What Disney character do you connect with most?

Felix from Wreck-It Ralph comes to mind. He is kind, positive, and always ready to help others without any prejudice. I hope to embody his character and attitude in my own life.

What is your favorite memory while working at Disney Animation?

My favorite memory is my first day at Disney Animation Studios—the moment when "one day" finally became day one!
