Describe something that you learned from your mentors.

When problem-solving: look at the information and examples you have, ask questions, move forward, and take advantage of feedback! Following this pattern has helped me make productive progress on my project with the help of my mentor and team.

What will you take away from your experience and how will you apply it?

Learn from the experiences of the people around you (and don't be afraid to contribute your own perspective)! I've gained so much insight from talking to people around me, including my team and artists from different parts of the animation pipeline. I hope to continue learning and building creative technology rooted in collaboration.

What are 3 words you would use to describe your experience?

Immersive, Challenging, Inspiring

What are you most proud of from your program?

I'm proud to make a contribution to a production workflow! Being able to present to artists and to use their feedback to drive development has been an exciting and fulfilling experience for me.

What do you like about working at Disney Animation?

I love the opportunity to get engaged in the process as an intern. I was exposed to team, cross-team, department, and studio meetings, and I got to meet people from many different disciplines formally and informally. Thanks to the welcoming and cooperative atmosphere, I've learned a lot about how productions work and how people here work together.

What was your favorite Disney movie growing up?

Tangled

What is your favorite memory while working at Disney Animation?

Some of my favorite memories are chatting with people who worked on my favorite movies and hearing the stories behind development. It's like seeing magicians reveal their secret, except the process only becomes more magical to me when I learn how everything comes together to make the final product!
