Marketing, Publicity, & Franchise is an embedded team of global brand ambassadors for all of the feature films, shorts, series, and filmmakers from Walt Disney Animation Studios. This team serves as a bridge that connects Disney Animation stories, worlds, and characters with external print, broadcast and online media as well as various lines of business within The Walt Disney Company. They are educators, advocates, and partners providing creative assets, content, information, guidance, strategy, and cross-company alignment to maximize the success of all releases in theaters, on Disney+, in products, and experiences around the world. The team also spearheads Disney Animation’s social media presence as well as leads opportunities to highlight the Studio’s brand, its culture and artists/filmmakers through marketing and communications.
